Donne Biryani is the pride of Bengaluru which started in Chickpet, and our beloved Founder, Mr. Gangadhar Gowda, has done the best for the improvement of taste and kept the Biryani lovers never disappointed.

Biryani in our prestigious outlets of Chickpet Donne Biryani House is a saga of traditional recipes, handpicked spices, carefully chosen tender meat, Nati-style cooking and an eternal story of great food, once started eating will feel eating more and more and makes finger licking taste and lingers smell of masalas for long.

PURE VILLAGE ORIGINS

Mr. Gowda’s brother and his partner took over the business, our old-time patrons vouch that ‘nothing has ever changed’.

We source the best spices and ingredients which are best quality in the market to give the authentic taste in our menu.

Our biryani is celebrated, the love for its taste and the difference lies in the choice of our rice. We use a special variety called ‘Jeera Rice’ also locally known as ‘Jeerakasala Rice’/ SeeragaSamba Rice/ Chitti Muthyalu Rice. The aroma, the delicate flavour, and the smooth texture of the rice create a riot of flavourin the ta of taste buds of our consumers.

We are devoted to delivering perfection, and ingredients are specially handpicked around the day to ensure the freshest of the spices and greens are used in our batches of biryani prepared separately for lunch and dinner. The meat used for the biryani deserves a special mention as the most tender, juicy, and superior quality meat is cooked to perfection, which also rightly blends with the variety of rice used by us, to get the unforgettable taste.

Essentially, Donne (in Kannada) simply means a dried palm leaf/banana leaf folded into a bowl. Serving hot food in Donne, not only results in serving aromatic biryani but has proven health benefits prescribed in Ayurveda.Inside the Donne, we use fresh banana leaf that retain the aroma of rice meat and mildly blended spices to produce rich taste.
